Same old story: You didn’t bring that magic track that would take your audience into an instant state of euphoria on vinyl - you only brought it on CD. This would limit your creativity to hitting play and picking your nose. But that’s not what you came here for…
No sweat: the Numark X2 not only integrates a professional vinyl deck with a CD Player , it even offers classic vinyl DJ-features for both media without requiring a computer.
So have a look at this cool Hot Deal!
From the vinyl player’s ultra-high torque direct drive motor to the full size 12” aluminium platter and an ultra-precise straight or s-shaped tonearm, the X2 underlines that it was created for serious work. But there’s even more … lots more!
The frontloader CD-player doesn’t only support conventional audio CDs, but also MP3 data discs. What’s more, it ensures uninterrupted playback thanks to the on board Anti-Shock™ buffer technology and seamless looping . Even time stretching without affecting the pitch is possible – pitching goes without saying! And the way Numark have implemented CD-scratching is really cool, too: it’s done using the included vinyl interlock record , which means there’s no wear-and-tear for tonearm or needle. Numark have even added vinyl-style start and brake effects.
Aside from all its high-tech glory, the X2’s top-drawer quality vinyl player features a solid construction with adjustable anti-vibration feet to prevent vibrations and other unwanted side effects from spoiling your show.
Features, Features, Features : Play vinyl and CD at the same time, take advantage of two sets of Start/Stop-controls, see what’s going on (even in a dark club) with the illuminated CD-slot, controls and display – and get creative with the two Hot-Stutter Starts , Numarks Barkeeper™ Beat-recogniction or the 3.000 cue-point memory.

But how many can you actually make and keep it interesting? Like I said. I lost interest after the second one. However the one thing you can rely on with most thriller flicks is that there will be some sort of metal music on their soundtrack. Sometimes it’s fused with a techno beat, and while that was kind of cool for 10 seconds back in 1996, it’s not cool these days. I honestly haven’t bought a movie soundtrack since Dee Snider’s Strangeland, which was an extremely cheesy, yet brilliant movie…kind of. You can check out the track list below (thx BW&BK). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 21st.
